10 Rohingyas rescued while being trafficked to Malaysia

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel have been rescued ten Rohingya people from Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar.
The Rohingyas were detained while they were trying to go Malaysia illegally by sea route on Friday morning.
Meanwhile, the law enforcers detained a suspect of the trafficking. He was identified as Abdur Rahman, 32, hailed from Shahporir Dwip.
Cox’s Bazar RAB-7 company commander Major Mehedi Hasan said following information, RAB conducted a drive after finding out some Rohingyas had been trying to illegally leave for Malaysia from Teknaf's Shahporir Dwip through seaways.
Among them, four are male, six are female. All were preparing to depart for Malaysia illegally.
The Rohingyas and suspected trafficker were sent to Teknad police station. A case has been filed in this regard.
