10 garment factories selected for awards

Senior Correspondent: Ten garment factories have been selected for awards for their reputation in labour management and labour-friendly atmosphere.

The factories are: Square Fashions Ltd, Jamirdia, Habirbari of Valuka in Mymensingh, Snowtex Outerwear Ltd of Dhamrai in Savar of Dhaka, Ecotex Ltd of Kaliakoir in Gazipur, Tarasima Apparels Limited of Saturia in Manikganj, Viyellatex of Tongi in Gazipur, AKH ECO Apparels of Dhamrai in Dhaka, Knit Concern Ltd, Wisdom Attires Limited of Fatullah in Narayanganj, Hoplun Apparels Ltd of Gazipur and Fakir Fashions Ltd of Rupganj in Narayanganj.

Ministry for Labour and Employment will arrange the awards giving ceremony marking “The Occupational Health and Safety Day” at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh of Farmgate in the capital.

President Abdul Hamid will hand over the awards to the factories who will attend the programme as the chief guest.
