10 injured in clash over land dispute

Bagerhat Correspondent: At least 10 people were injured in a clash over land disputes in Kabarsthan area of ward no 3 under Mongla upazila of the district on Saturday.

The injured are identified as Zillur Rahman, Fouzia Begum, Monira Begum, Tonni, Razzak, Bayzid, Amir, Mizan Talukdar, Dulal and Mithu.

Witnesses said that there was a land dispute between Zillur Rahman and Mizan Talukdar. Following the dispute, a land surveyor and locals went to the land. At one stage, both group locked into clash, leaving ten people injured.

Later, the injured were sent to local health complex.

Mongla police station, Sub-Inspector Monzur Elahi confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
