10 shops gutted in Noakhali

Noakhali Correspondent: At least 10 shops were gutted as a fire broke out at Maijdee Islamia Road on Wednesday night.
According to sources, the fire originated near Mohammedan Club around 10:00 am and engulfed the adjoining ten shops.
On information, four fire fighting units rushed in and doused the fire with an effort of two hours.
Noakhali Municipality Mayor Sahid Ullah Khan Sohel visited the spot.
The loss of the fire could not be estimated immediately.
