10.41 crore voters in country

Staff Correspondent: At present, there are 10 crore, 41 lakh, 42 thousand and 381 voters in the country.

Acting secretary to the Election Commission Helaluddin Ahmed said this during releasing the updated voter list at a press conference at Nirbachon Bhaban in the city on Wednesday.

He said in last one year, 2,701,780 voters were included in list.

Of the total voters, 52,512,105 are male while 51,630, 276 are female.

Helaluddin Ahmed said as there is an opportunity for people to be included in the voter list as another final voter list will be released before the next national election.
