1000 models of appliances available at Walton Pavilion in DITF

Staff Reporter: Nearly 100 sorts of electronics, electrical, home, kitchen, industrial solutions and ICT products and accessories are available at the premier pavilion of the countries electronics giant ‘Walton’ in the ongoing month-long “Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)- 2019.”

Many of them like locally made compressors, smart phones, elevator or lift, plastic and chemical components, smart air conditioners with voice or echo controlled operation are newly added to the existing products list of Walton.

Of the 100 sorts of appliances, around 1000 models are available at Walton Pavilion that were turned into customers’ prime attraction at the fair.

Along with the consumer electronics and electrical appliances, Walton is showcasing various sorts of industrial solutions like plastic mould, die, LGP, LDP, nut, bolts, screws, plastic and chemical components, electric components, mechanical components, hot melt adhesive etc. These products are the basic raw materials of various sorts of electronics and electrical appliances. Walton is now manufacturing these products at its own factory to meet the requirement of basic raw materials for its produced fridges, televisions, air conditioners and other sorts of appliances and thus they are going to export industrial solutions after meeting their internal demands.

Md Humayun Kabir, executive director (PR & Media) of Walton Group, said, such a large number of appliances and models have been displayed at Walton Pavilion so that the buyers can pick up their all desired products from one place.

This year they are displaying and selling out LGP, LDP, master batch, aluminum foil tape, various sorts of plastic and still components as fresh products in this year’s DITF, he added.

Centering the beginning of DITF and New Year, Walton has brought a good number of new models of appliances, including IoT based smart fridges and air conditioners, ionizer technology’s air conditioners that will flow fresh air in the room, seventh generation laptop that is powered by core-i 5 processors.

Along with the existing products, the local brand is also displaying some upcoming models of its various products, including the quantum dot plus technology’s 43-inch SpectraQ TV with highest colour ratio, news models of 55, 65 and 98-inch big screen LED televisions, cassette and ceiling type air conditioners of 3.75 tons, surface panel lights, flood lights, smart lights, pedestal fans etc.

In this year’s DITF-18, Walton set up a three-storey premier pavilion (Number-23) with unique design.

Md. Shafiqul Alam, in-charge of Walton Pavilion, said, they are displaying 103 models of frost and 23 models of non-frost refrigerators, 16 models of freezers and 2 models of beverage cooler; 78 models of LED and 26 models of Smart TV, 8 models of Washing machine, 22 models of rice cooker, 12 models of microwave and 3 models of electric ovens; 15 models of ceiling fans, 8 models of wall fans, 6 models of table fans, 12 models of pedestal fans; 8 models of electric kettle and several hundreds of models of various home, kitchen and electrical appliances at the ground floor of the pavilion.

At the first floor, 14 models of split AC, 2 models of cassette and ceiling AC, 2 models of diesel-run and 19 models of gasoline-run generators, 23 models of laptop, 13 models of desktop computer, 2 models of monitor, 20 models of smart phones, 19 models of feature phones and various accessories like keyboard, mouse, pen drive etc.
