Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a joint drive detained 11 people with illegal handsets and cell phone jammer from Baitul Mokarram market area in the capital.
Confirming the matter, BTRC senior director Zakir Hossain Khan on Wednesday said that RAB executive magistrate Sarowar-ul-Alam conducted the drive yesterday night.
The current market price of the handsets and Jammers is Tk 60 lakh.
