11 houses gutted in Natore fire

Natore Correspondent:  At least 11 houses were gutted in a fire which broke out at Jamtoil village under the district’s Naldanga upazila early Friday.

Local people said the fire broke out at the kitchen of one Shahjahan Mia in the early hours on Friday and spread to adjacent houses of five families.

On information, a firefighting unit went to the spot and extinguished the blaze after one hour of frantic efforts.
