12 foreigners among 77 held over BPL gambling

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Unit of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) held 12 foreigners among 77 people for their alleged involvement in gambling over the ongoing BPL matches since the tournament launched.
Of the detainees, 10 from India, 2 from Pakistan and 65 of Bangladesh, were handed over to police.
Ismail Haider Mallik, member secretary of BPL governing council, came up with the disclosure in a press briefing on Friday evening.
BPL governing council chairman Afzalur Rahman Sinha among others BCB officials were present during the press conference.
