15 injured in Noakhali clash

Noakhali Correspondent: At least 15 people were injured in a clash between the supporters of Awami League-nominated Kabirhat upazila chairman candidate and independent candidate on Thursday night.

Among the inured, six received bullet injury who have been admitted to Noakhali General Hospital. 

According to sources, supporters of Awami League candidate Kamrun Nahar Sheuli and independent candidate locked into a clash in Kabirhat Zero Point area.

Four bullet-hit people are identified as Joynal Abedin, 38, Ibrahim Khalil, 42, Hasan, 18, and Munsi Boba, 30.

The election to Kabirhat Upazila Parishad will be held on March 31.
