159 persons fined for violating govt instructions

About 159 persons have been fined for breaching the government instructions to contain coronavirus in Brahmanbaria district.

Mobile courts fined them in different drives from Thursday morning to night at different places of nine upazilas.

Deputy Commissioner Hayat-ud-Daula Khan said “We are asking people to obey the government instructions and stay at their homes. But they violated the government instructions”. '
The mobile courts fined the persons Tk 1,11,800.

Bangladesh reported its sixth coronavirus death. On Thursday two more people have been diagnosed with coronavirus, taking the number of Covid-19 cases in the country to 56.
