2 NCTB officials made OSD over textbook mistakes

Secretariat Correspondent: Two senior officials of National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) have been made officers on special duty (OSD) over errors in the government textbooks.

Subodh Chandra Dhali, deputy secretary of Education Ministry confirmed the matter on Monday.

Subodh Chandra Dhali also said the OSD officials' are- Pritish Kumar Sarkar, chief editor of NCTB, and Lana Humayra Khan, senior expert of the board.

Besides, the education ministry formed a powerful probe body to detect mistakes in the textbooks and find people responsible for the errors.
