2 UPDF men shot dead in Nanierchar

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Two activists of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) were shot dead early Friday at Burighat union under Nanierchar upazila in Rangamati district.
The deceased were identified as Sumanta Chakma and Akorshon Chakma.
Abdul Latif, officer-in-charge of Naniarchar Police Station, confirmed the matter.
He said they were killed in a gunfight between two rival groups early Friday.
