2 minors drown in Narayanganj

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: Two minor children drowned in Bhuiyarbagh area under Fatulla upazila of the district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Shawon Rahman, son of Habibur Rahman and Nayon Gazi, son of Md Gazi. The two victims were students of  Panir Tanki Madrasa.

Sub-inspector Mazibur Rahman of Fatullah Model police station said that the two were missing from yesterday noon. Later, locals spotted the bodies of them in a pond around 11:00am on Friday.

Police sent the bodied to Narayanganj general hospital morgue for autopsy, the SI added.
