25 BNP men held in capital

Staff Correspondent: Law enforcers in their separate drives have detained 25 leaders and activists of BNP from High Court (HC) area in the capital on Wednesday morning.

The detainees could not be named immediately.

Police said the detained gathered at the court area to greet BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Shahbagh Police Station Md Mizan confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

Earlier in the morning, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia appeared before a special court set up at Bakshibazar in the capital in the Zia Orphanage Trust and Zia Charitable Trust graft cases.
