Cox's Bazar Correspondent: The law enforcers in a drive recovered huge arms and ammunitions and nabbed four people from remote area of Lama upazila of the district on Friday morning.
The detainees' are- Tuicha Mong Marma, Chainung Marma, Oikya Marma and Mifong Marma, all of them hailed from Banpur village.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 company commander Major Ruhul Amin said tipped off, a joint team of army and RAB officials conducted the drive from Thursday night to Friday morning in remote areas of Banpur Razapara village in Fashiakhali union.
Meanwhile, the law enforcers detained the four persons along with 25 fire arms and 2,037 rounds of bullet from the spot.
After interrogation, the detainees will be produced before the court filing case against them.
