Staff Correspondent: The government has appointed 25 lawyers of the Supreme Court (SC) as assistant attorney general for dealing cases on behalf of the state.
The law ministry issued a notification to this effect on Thursday.
Now the number of assistant attorney generals stand at 121.
At present, there are a attorney general, two additional attorney generals and 46 deputy attorney generals.
