Satkhira Correspondent: Police detained 29 persons from seven upazilas in the district in special drives from Wednesday night to Thursday morning.
Police inspector of special branch (SB) of Satkhira Mizanur Rahman said that the law enforcers detained 12 people from Sadar upazila, three from Kalaroa upazila, four from Tala upazila, three from Kaliganj, two from Shyamnagar, two from Assasuni and three Patkelghata police station.
Police say that all of the detainees are listed as accused in different cases.
