Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A total of 29 platoons Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in Gazipur to maintain law and order.
BGB Public Relation Officer (PRO) Mohsin Reza in a short message confirmed the matter on Sunday noon.
The border guards will be deployed at different parts of the city till Jun 27.
The Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) election will be held on Tuesday (June 26) and the candidates may continue their campaigning till midnight on Sunday.
