2nd time MBBS admission seekers to be fined 5 marks

Secretariat Correspondent: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said that second time admission seekers in government and private medical and dental colleges will be fined five marks.

They will also be fined 7.5 marks in the final merit list of government colleges, the health minister said.

The decision was made at a meeting on the admission to MBBS and BDS courses at the secretariat on Sunday with Health Minister Mohammad Nasim in the chair.

Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) President Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Medical University (BSMMU) Vice-Chancellor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan and Director General of Health Services Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad were present at the meeting.
