3 SSC, equivalent exams rescheduled for Biswa Ijtema

Secretariat Correspondent: Three tests of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been deferred for Biswa Ijtema, which is scheduled to begin on the bank of the Turag River at Tongi on February 15.

Examinations originally scheduled for February 16, 17 and 18 will be held on February 26, 27 and March 2.

Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof M Ziaul Haque and Exam Controller Tapan Kumar Sarkar confirmed the matter.

The four-day Biswa Ijtema, a congregation of Muslims, will start on February 15 on the bank of the Turag river in Tongi.
