3 blocks in Obaidul Quader’s heart

Staff Correspondent: Three blocks have been diagnosed in the heart of League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

Director of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Brigadier General Md Abdullah-Al-Harun said after an angiogram, he has been diagnosed with three blocks in his heart.

Chairman of the Department of Cardiology Prof. Syed Ali Ahsan said that it cannot be said that his condition is better now.  After 72 hours we can say something about his condition. His pulse and blood pressure are in stable stages.

Earlier, Obaidul Quader was hospitalized as he fell ill on Sunday morning.He has been sent to ICU of BSMMU.

Prashanta Majumdar, public relation officer of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University said Obaidul Quader was taken to the hospital around 7:00am following cardiac disease.
