3 cops among 6 injured in city road crash

Staff Correspondent: At least six people, including three policemen were injured in a road accident in Rayerbagh area of Jatrabari in the capital on Monday morning.

The injured policemen are - Sub-Inspector (SI) Jalal Ahmed of Jatrabari police station, Constable Ekhlasur Rahman and Mafizul.

Police said that a truck and covered van collided in front of Jorakhamba United CNG filing station around 4:00am. On information, police rushed to the spot and joined rescue operation. Meanwhile, a speedy passenger bus rammed the two crashed vehicles in the area, leaving the three policemen and three passengers of the bus injured.

Jatrabari police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anisur Rahman told risingbd.com a case was filed in this regard.
