3 killed as 2 buses collide in Narsingdi

Narsingdi Correspondent: At least three people were killed and 22 others injured as two buses collided head on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway at Sayednagar of Shibpur on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Bus Driver Anwar, 45, passenger Alauddin, 60 and Rehena Begum, 45.
Police and witnesses said that a Bhairab-bound passenger bus from Dhaka collided with a local bus from opposite direction around 11:00am, leaving 25 people injured.
Later, the injured were sent to Narsingdi general hospital where duty doctors declared the three people dead.
Shibpur police station Officer-in-Charge Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the matter.
