3 killed in Faridpur separate accidents

Faridpur Correspondent: Three people were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents in Bhanga upazila of the district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Nuru Munshi, Rozina Begum and Majibar Sheikh.

Sheikh Mahfuzur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police Station, said a three wheeler (locally named Mahendra) collided with a parked truck when the driver of the Mahendra lost control over the steering in Nowpara area on Faridpur-Barisal highway, leaving two passengers of the vehicle dead on the spot.

Besides, a local bus rammed a roadside auto-van in Kalatola area on Bhanga-Mawa road, leaving auto-van driver dead on the spot.
