3.5kg gold seized at Ctg airport

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate officials detained a passenger and seized 3.5 kilograms of gold from him at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong Wednesday.

Chittagong Airport Customs Authority said the passenger Abdul Malek came from Dubai this noon. Meanwhile, the law enforcers searched him for his suspicious movement and found the gold in his luggage.

A case was filed with Patenga police station in this regard.
