30% freedom fighter quota to remain in public service

Staff Correspondent: Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque said 30 percent quota for the freedom fighters and sons of the freedom fighters will remain in government jobs.

The minister made the assertion while addressing a programme in capital's Gulistan on Saturday.

He said, "The Prime Minister made the announcement yesterday. So, I am also repeating that speech and expressing gratitude to the Premier on behalf of freedom fighter."

The Minister said, "There is no scope to do politics or enjoy facilities in this country for Jamaat. Jamaat must be banned here. All types of wealth of them should be banned."

"The Prime Minister is permissive towards the freedom fighters. She always gave importance to the demand of freedom fighters. So, she allotted Tk200 to preserve historical spots in the country," AKM Mozammel Haque said.
