4 burnt in gas cylinder blast

Staff Correspondent: At least four people sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion at a tea-stall in the capital’s Merul Badda area on Thursday night.

Two of the injured are identified as Abul Khayer, the tea-seller, and Bahar, a customer.
The other two couldn’t be identified immediately.  

Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Camp In-Charge Sub-Inspector (SI) Bacchu Mia said they were burnt as a gas cylinder exploded in a stall at around 8:30pm.

Abul Khayer and Bahar have been shifted to DMCH from a local hospital, for treatment.
