4 crushed to death by bus in Bagerhat

Bagerhat Correspondent: At least four persons of a family  including a child were crushed to death by a bus in the district on Monday morning.

The accident took place around 10.00am in Kakdanga area under Fakirhat upazila.

The deceased were identified as Azad Sheikh (40), Shikha Begum (38) and their grand children Roni Sheikh (5) and Tamanna Akhtar (7).

They hailed from Kodla village under Baroipara union of Bagerhat Sadar upazila.

Sub Inspector of Highway Police Md Jamal Hossain said a bus of Comfort Paribahan ran over a battery-run van coming from the opposite side, leaving four dead on the spot and two injured.
