4 students of NSTU expelled

Noakhali Correspondent: Four students of the Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) have temporarily been expelled.

This was confirmed by a press release signed by the university's Public Relations Officer Iftekhar Raju on Sunday night.

The expelled students are: Mohaiminul Islam Nuhash of Pharmacy Department, Khairul Bashar Biplob and Abdur Rakib of Agriculture Department and Nazrul Islam Nayeem of Economics Department. They are 10th and 11th batch students of the university.

On Sunday, the authorities declared their expulsion as they assaulted several teachers of the university and Ansar members on the campus during admission test.

The students have been told to explain in the next seven days why they will not be ultimately expelled.
