40 held in Satkhira drives

Satkhira Correspondent: Police in an overnight drive arrested 40 people on charges of terror activity, sabotage and drugs from eight upazilas of the district.

Police conducted the special drive from Friday evening to Saturday morning and arrested them.

Among the arrestees, 10 people were from Sadar upazila, 10 from Kalaroa, three from Tala, four from Kaliganj, six from Shymnagar, three from Ashashuni, two from Debhata and two from Patkelghata.

Meanwhile, three lethal weapons and some drugs were recovered from their possession.
