46,456 hajj pilgrims arrive in Saudi Arabia

Staff Correspondent: A total of 46,456 hajj pilgrims have arrived successfully in Saudi Arabia in government and private management.

Of them, 3,226 pilgrims went Mecca under government management and 43,230 under private management.

A total of 63 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and 64 flights of Saudi Arabian Airlines have so far ferried the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia marking the holy hajj this year.

In a special hajj bulletin from Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed this today.

According to the hajj bulletin, three hajj pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia. All of them were male pilgrims.

This year, a total of 1,26,798 persons will go to Saudi Arabia for performing hajj. Of them, 6,798 will perform hajj under government management while 1,20,000 under private management.
