5 killed in Sirajganj road accident

Sirajganj Correspondent: At least five people were killed and 25 other people injured in a collision among two buses and one truck on the eastern side of Bangabandhu Bridge on Thursday noon.

Officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge West Zone Police Station Sayed Shahid Alam said the accident took place around 12.00pm at Kodda intersection.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately
He said a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction hit two buses, leaving five people dead on the spot and 25 others injured.

The injured were taken to a local hospital.
