5.2-magnitude tremor hits Greece-Albania border region

International Desk: A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit the Greece-Albania border area at 04:26 (UTC), according to the United States Geological Survey.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, meanwhile, has reported that a 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck 73 kilometres to the southwest of the city of Bitola in neighbouring North Macedonia.
The EMSC reported that Albania has experienced at least seven earthquakes in the last 4 hours.
Local media outlets have reported that five people were injured after a house collapsed in the quake.
The Albanian Defence Ministry, meanwhile, has stated that no extraordinary situation has been reported in any of the country's districts.
The Albanian authorities said they were monitoring the situation following the tremor and aftershocks, according to local media.
