5th round of National Cricket League begins

Sports Correspondent: The 5th round of four-day 20th Walton National Cricket League has begun at four separate venues across the country.

The matches started around 9:30am on Monday.

In tier-1 of the day’s matches, winning toss, Rajshahi Division is bowling against Rangpur at Rangpur Cricket Garden while the match between Khulna Division and Barishal Division is being delayed due to rain at Barishal Stadium.

In tier-2 matches, Dhaka Metro is batting against Dhaka Division at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura while the match between Chattogram and Sylhet is being delayed due to inclement weather.

Walton, the country’s leading electronics, electrical, automobile and telecommunication products manufacturing and marketing company, sponsored the 20th 'National Cricket League (NCL)-2018-19' for eight consecutive times.
