Staff Correspondent, Jessore: Police, in special drives, from Saturday night to Sunday morning detained 63 persons on various charges including act of sabotage from the district.
The identity of the detainees could not be known immediately.
Police control room sources said that police detained 14 from Katwali police station, two from Chougacha, six from Sharsha, five from Jhikargacha, 17 from Benapole, four from Keshabpur, six from Avaynagar and two from Bagharpara.
The detainees were produced before the court.
