69 Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims die in Saudi

Staff Correspondent: Some 69 Bangladeshi pilgrims, who went to Saudi Arabia for performing hajj this year, have so far died in Saudi Arabia.

Of them, 58 were males and 11 females, Bangladesh Hajj office councilor (Hajj) Muhammad Maksudur Rahman confirmed the matter.

A bulletin posted at Bangladesh Hajj Management portal under the Religious Affairs Ministry also confirmed on Wednesday.

This year a total of 126,798 pilgrims from Bangladesh sent to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj.
