7 govt colleges affiliated to Dhaka University

Staff Correspondent: Seven government colleges were brought under the Dhaka University (DU) umbrella on Thursday as per a decision taken by the Education Ministry.

From now on, all the aspects of those colleges including the admission tests will be administrated by Dhaka University.

The university media wing director Dr Nur-Islam confirmed the matter to risingbd.com on Thursday.

He said the decision was come into effect following a meeting of the principals of the colleges with the university vice-chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office.

The affiliated colleges are - Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Women College, Mirpur Government Bangla College and Government Titumir College.
