7 militants of 'Din For Extreme' held in Chattogram

Staff Correspondent, Chattaogram: Rapid Action Battalion detained seven members of a militant group named ‘Din For Extreme’ from Kazir Deuri area of the district town.

The detainees are - Mohiuddin Tamim, Afzal Imran, Daud Nabi Polash, CHowdhury Mohammad Ridwan, Mohammad Faruk, MM Dewan Jafar and Muntasir Rahman.

Confirming the matter, Mimtanur Rahman, assistant superintendent of police, of RAB-7 said that acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers detained from the area on Friday afternoon.

Later, following their information, 41 Jihadi books, two laptops, two motorbikes were seized during the drive, he added.
