8 gold bars seized from rectum at Dhaka airport

Staff Correspondent: Customs Intelligence has arrested a man with eight gold bars at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The detainee is identified as Selim. He was carrying the gold bars inside his rectum.
Customs Intelligence said that acting on a tip-off, law enforcers kept their eyes on the passenger, whom they later arrested from the green channel of the airport.
Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) Director General Moinul Khan has confirmed.
The bars weighted 800g in total and with a net worth of Tk40 lakh.
