92.33% pass JSC, JDC exams

Staff Correspondent: The results of this year’s Junior Secondary Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations have been published today. A total of 92.33 percent of the eighth graders passed in these examinations.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement before media while handing over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her Gono Bhaban residence at 10:30am on Thursday.

Later, the results will be announced at a press conference.

The students can get the results through text messages.

To avail the result through SMS, a JSC or JDC student will have to type ‘JSC or JDCfirst three letters of boardroll number2016’ and send text message to 16222.

The results can also be seen online at www.moedu.gov.bd and www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.

A total of 2,47,588 students got GPA-5 in this year’s examinations.

A total of 24, 12, 775 students took part in the JSC and JDC examinations that began on November 1 and continued till November 17.
