AB Bank Chairman among 3 quit

Economic Correspondent: Chairman of Arab Bangladesh Bank (AB) Limited M Wahidul Haque, Vice Chairman Salim Ahmed and Director Fahimul Haque have resigned from their posts.

Wishing anonymity an official of the bank said that the three officials resigned from their posts at the annual general meeting (AGM) at Le Méridien Hotel in the capital on Thursday.

Newly appointed three officials are - Shirin Sheikh, Sajir Ahmed and Moshtaq Ahmed.

Additional security measures were taken centering the annual general meeting (AGM). Newsmen were barred to enter hotel.
