ACC grills AB bank ex-chairman, 3 others

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) grilled former AB Bank Chairman and three Directors over a money laundering case.

ACC deputy director Md Samsul Alam, also investigation officer of the case started the interrogation at ACC headquarters around 9:50am on Monday. 

Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, Public Relations Officer of ACC confirmed the matter to risingbd.com. 

The AB bank officials are- AB Bank Former Chairman M Wahidul Haque, Director Md Firoz Ahmed, Former Director M A Awal and Professor Imtiaz Hossain.

The case accuses the suspects of embezzling Tk 3.5 billion borrowed for Citycell from AB Bank.
