ACC summons BASIC Bank Ex-Chairman

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned former BASIC Bank chairman Sheikh Abdul Hye Bachchu for interrogation over loan scam of nearly Tk 3.5 thousand crore.

He was summoned nearly four years after ACC had started to investigate into the scam.

ACC served a letter to Bachchu to appear before it on December 4.

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the news.
