AL always prepared for election: Quader

Staff Correspondent: Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader said his party is always prepared for election, even it takes place in next month.

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister said this in reply to a query during press conference held after a joint meeting at the party president's political office of the capital's Dhanmondi on Friday.

Quader said, "We did not say that we will be in power in 2024. But we did not lose our morale. Many development works are running. Some of works can exceed the present government's tenure. We may return to power, but not sure. It only depends on Allah and people."

"We have confidence to attain the power again. We have achievements of development works, but BNP has nothing to show. They have nothing to show their manners or political activities. So, they are in long distance from Awami League."
