AL announces Dhaka nominees

Staff Correspondent: Awami League has determined which of its candidates will contest the upcoming 11th parliamentary election under the party banner.

The party's General Secretary Obaidul Quader started distributing the letters to the nominees around 10am, on Sunday, at the party’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhaka.

The nominees who will join the election with AL tickets are- Salman F Rahman (Dhaka-1), Kamrul Islam (Dhaka-2), Nasrul Hamid Bipu (Dhaka-3), Haji Mohammad Selim (Dhaka-7), Saber Hossain Chowdhury (Dhaka-9), Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nur Taposh, (Dhaka-10), AKM Rahmatullah (Dhaka-11), Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal (Dhaka-12), Sadek Khan (Dhaka-13), Aslamul Haque (Dhaka-14), Kamal Ahmed Majumdar (Dhaka-15), Ilias Uddin Mollah (Dhaka-16), Sahara Khatun (Dhaka-18).
