Staff Correspondent: Another Awami League leader has been detained with fire arms at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The detainee is identified as ABM Majharul Anam, Awami League president of capital’s Darussalam.
Airport Aviation Security Force detained him around 10:00am on Sunday for carrying the fire arms into the airport without prior declaration.
He was expected to go to Cox’s Bazar by a flight local flight. But security personnel detected a fire arms and 44 rounds of bullets while scanning his bag.
