AL leader stabbed dead in Jessore

Staff Correspondent, Jessore: A local Awami League leader was stabbed to death by miscreants in the district’s Jhikargacha upazila on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Siddikur Rahman, vice-president of Bakra union unit of Awami League and ex-UP member. He was the son of Tufan Golder at Baliadanga Khosalnagar village of the upazila.
According to sources, miscreants attacked Siddikur Rahman in Dikdana field area while he was going to Bakra Bazar.Seriously injured he was taken to Jessore Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
