AL leader’s brother slaughtered to death

Staff Correspondent: The younger brother of an Awami League leader has been slaughtered to death by miscreants.

The deceased was identified as Mohidul Islam (45), son of the late Moktar Hossain in the city’s Dewana area and bother of Shahidul Islam, secretary of Doulatpur Thana unit of Awami League.

On information, police recovered the dead boy around 8.30am on Monday from a fish farm in Pabla Beel area of Aronghata Thana.

According to sources, Mohidul Islam went to his fish firm on Sunday afternoon but did not return home at night.
