‘AL leaders have constructed high rise buildings in New York’

Senior Correspondent: BNP Standing Committee Member Barrister Moudud Ahmed said that the ruling Awami League (AL) leader had constructed high rise buildings in New York of US.

Claiming of having pictures at his hands, the BNP leader said, “The leaders do not want to leave power in fear of losing the properties.”

The BNP stalwart came up with the statement while speaking at a discussion at the capital’s Jatiya Press Club on Friday.

Moudud said, “I do not want to mention name of someone. Leaders who speak loudly today, they have high rise buildings in New York. Pictures of the houses still remain at my hands. The autocrat government do not want to leave the power as they are afraid of losing the properties.”

He said, “The government is hatching conspiracies to keep BNP out of the polls as they are sure of their defeat. But they are making mistakes. The conspiracy would not be fruitful.”
